‘Slices’ is a deli style sandwich station that lets students design their favorite sandwich just the way they like it, or grab a ready-made sandwich to go if they are in a hurry. ‘Greens’ brings the freshest produce and the healthier options in dining, including vegetarian and vegan options, that students are looking for. ‘Home Plates’ offers a variety of popular and traditional comfort foods, prepared with flair and style in an open kitchen environment.

The objective was to create a premier dining concept that will set the standard for the next generation of on-campus dining services and, based on the response of students and staff, they have succeeded.

  • Create an identity that is:
    • Memorable

  • Form a panel of 10-12 students to obtain feedback and direction on what dining concepts appeal to them.
  • Find an on-campus or local graphic artist to create a unique look for the brand name.
  • Get your management and staff involved in the brand development and the communications process.
  • Extend the brand visibility to all areas of the school and create a “destination” for students.
  • Communicate: Use the brand on flyers, signage, menus, counter cards, and table tents.
